We stayed at the Caiman House in Yupukari, where they are dedicated to tagging and taking data from the local caiman population. They also give back to the community, as a tourist spot, a public library, and an afterschool program. The night we went to watch they caught a 9 foot 1 inch caiman who had never been tagged before! It was thrilling.
