Insects: Ants
Ants are a very important part of the ecology of Guyana, and the world. Here, sophisticated ants have made tunnel nests, like urban homes connected by gridded streets. Ants biomass is equal to the biomass of humans on Earth, and without ants, humans would die; but without humans, everything natural would strive. Funny to think about, eh?
